Storage & Aging
Definition
Sealed two-way humidity control packets containing a saturated salt solution in a gel, sold at fixed RH targets such as 62, 65, 69, and 72 percent. They both release and absorb moisture to hold that setpoint.
Why it matters
Two-way regulation removes most of the guesswork from storage, since the pack corrects overshoot as well as dryness until it hardens and needs replacing.
