Draw Machine

Definition
A bench instrument that pulls a fixed airflow through a cigar and reports the pressure drop, usually in millimeters or inches of water column. Cuban factories adopted them in the early 2000s alongside manual checks.
Why it matters
A number replaces a subjective judgment, letting a factory set a tolerance band and hold every plancha to the same standard.
In context
"Anything over the top of the band goes back to the buncher."
