Oscuro

The darkest wrapper class, deeper than maduro and often close to black, achieved with the thickest top-priming leaf and the longest fermentation. Some oscuro wrappers are also left on the plant longer before harvest.

Oscuro leaf is heavy and slow burning, so it can dominate a blend and complicate combustion if the filler is not built to match.
