Definition
A Habanos program, running since 2000, releasing a small number of Cuban cigars each year in sizes not otherwise in the regular range, using wrapper leaf aged at least two years. Bands are black and gold.
Why it matters
Limitadas are the most followed annual Cuban release and a reliable driver of the secondary market, since production is finite and never repeated in the same form.
In context
"The 2019 Limitada is long gone from retail and trades well above its original price."
