Definition
A slim parejo of roughly 7 1/2 inches by 38 to 40, usually finished with a flag or pigtail cap. Its Cuban galera name is Laguito No. 1, 192 mm by 38, created at El Laguito for Cohiba.
Why it matters
The extreme length-to-width ratio maximizes wrapper surface per unit of filler, making the lancero the format blenders use to show a wrapper off and the hardest size to roll without a tight draw.
