A finish in which the wrapper is left long at the head and either laid flat across the cap as a flag or twisted into a short pigtail. Traditional on Cuban lanceros and widely adopted elsewhere as a house signature.
Why it matters
The pigtail is decorative and meant to be twisted or cut off rather than smoked through; its presence signals hand finishing, not any change in draw.
