Smoking & TechniqueSpanish
Definition
Opening a tapered head, as on a torpedo, belicoso, or perfecto. Because the cigar narrows toward the tip, cut depth changes the effective ring gauge of the opening.
Why it matters
In context
"Start shallow on a figurado; you can always cut again, but you cannot put it back."
