Rolling

ConstructionEnglish
Definition
Application of the wrapper leaf to a bunched and molded cigar, spiraled from foot to head and finished with a cap. Where labor is split, this is the second half of the job, performed after the buncher.
Why it matters
Rolling governs appearance, seam tightness, and cap integrity; it can spoil a good bunch but cannot rescue a bad one.
In context
"She bunches in the morning and rolls in the afternoon - two different skills."
