Seam

Line where each turn of the wrapper overlaps the previous one as it spirals up the cigar. Tight, flat, nearly invisible seams indicate careful wrapper application on properly humidified leaf.

Raised or gaping seams often mean the wrapper was worked too dry, and they can open up as the burn line reaches them.
